Farai Kuwonza

Farai Maxwell Kuwonza is a Senior Data Analyst of the Partnered Evidence-Based Policy Resource Center (PEPReC) at VA Boston Healthcare System. He is also a PhD student in Health Services & Policy Research (health economics track) in the Department of Health Law, Policy, and Management at Boston University School of Public Health. Broadly, his research interest lies at the intersection of health care access and financing. Farai has worked as a consultant with Health Capital Group on projects surrounding the 340B Drug Pricing Program, serving clients in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to consulting, Farai served as a graduate research assistant in the Department of Population Health Sciences at Weill Cornell Medicine, focusing on the acquisition of skilled nursing facilities by private equity firms and real estate investment trusts (REITs) research projects.

Farai received his MS in Health Policy and Economics from the Weill Cornell Medical College, an MPhil in Development Finance from Stellenbosch University, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe.
